There have been plenty of sensational goals in the Premier League over the last 10 months. Here's a selection of some of our favourites, in chronological order - check them out and then leave a Comment below...

Demba Ba (Newcastle v Reading, September 29)

The Senegal forward struck both in a 2-2 draw with the Royals, including one brilliant volley. Ba waited and watched on the edge of the area as a ball from deep dipped over his shoulder and then threw himself forward to fire past Alex McCarthy.

Luis Suarez (Liverpool v Newcastle, November 4)

Suarez created plenty of headlines throughout the campaign for good and bad reasons, but the quality of his play at times was breathtaking. He showed his skill with a brilliant equaliser against Newcastle, nudging on a long ball with his shoulder at the edge of the box, skipping away from Fabricio Coloccini and coolly sidestepping Tim Krul.

Andreas Weimann (Liverpool v Aston Villa, December 15)

Villa belied their troubles at the bottom of the Premier League with a superb 3-1 win at Anfield. Weimann was heavily involved in a slick passing move, and applied the finishing touch, as Villa cut the Reds open. Weimann found Christian Benteke just inside the area and the Belgian instantly backheeled for the Austrian to sidefoot home.

Cameron Jerome (Stoke v Southampton, December 29)

Stoke substitute Jerome had the final word in an eventful clash with Southampton when he struck the dramatic and stunning last-minute equaliser that made the score 3-3. Peter Crouch got ahead of Jos Hooiveld to chest the ball towards Jerome and he did the rest from 25 yards, crashing in a powerful snap-shot off the underside of the bar.

Rafael (QPR v Manchester United, February 23)

The Brazilian right-back came of age at Manchester United this season and he underlined his growing confidence with a superb strike at Loftus Road. Goalkeeper Julio Cesar beat away a cross but the ball bobbled towards Rafael and he returned it with interest, cracking a rising shot into the top corner.

Gareth Bale (West Ham v Tottenham, February 25)

There were plenty of goal-of-the-season contenders from Bale, not least a fine finish against Norwich after a run from halfway. His last-minute winner at Upton Park, however, eclipses it for drama. Bale started the attack as he pushed into the Hammers half and was fouled as he looked inside for Gylfi Sigurdsson. The referee allowed advantage and Bale picked himself up to line up a shot from 30 yards, which he clipped into the top corner.

Matthew Lowton (Stoke v Aston Villa, April 6)

Stoke looked to have cleared their lines from a Villa corner when Charlie Adam hooked the ball away from the edge of the area after a Geoff Cameron header. But Lowton had different ideas as the ball dropped to him 25 yards out. The Villa defender controlled on his chest and struck a brilliant volley which dipped over Asmir Begovic and secured a vital win for the relegation-threatened visitors just three minutes from time.

Loic Remy (QPR v Wigan, April 7)

QPR will remember little with fondness from their doomed campaign but Remy's breakaway goal against relegation rivals Wigan was a highlight. Rangers broke from a free-kick on the edge of their own box through Stephane Mbia and he rolled the ball out to the overlapping Remy on his right. Remy took full advantage of the opportunity as he hit a first-time shot past Joel Robles from the edge of the area.

David Luiz (Fulham v Chelsea, April 17)

The Brazilian, who has flourished this season after past difficulties, set Chelsea on their way to a comfortable 3-0 win over their neighbours with a long-range strike. There seemed little on for Luiz 40 yards out but he had only one thing on his mind as he unleashed a thunderbolt into the top corner.

Robin van Persie (Manchester United v Aston Villa, April 22)

The Dutchman capped a brilliant first season at Manchester United by hitting a first-half hat-trick in the win which clinched the Barclays Premier League title. Timing his run to perfection as Wayne Rooney launched a long ball from just inside the United half, Van Persie watched as the ball dropped on the edge of the area, let it come across his body and hit a crisp left-foot volley past Brad Guzan.

t's wrong to be making a joke out of Bender's name at the expense of gay people. It's the kind of childish, uncivilised thing that Football365 would deride and ridicule if it was another media outlet saying. Why is there a need for jokes like this? Does it make your writers feel like men? F365 might suggest that I 'lighten up', but it is genuinely traumatic for people who have been oppressed all their lives to be the butt of jokes, and to be told...

ou can't blame De Gea for wanting to leave, he has enough to do in front of goal as it is as well as taking on the role of Man Utd's version of Derek Acorah in trying to contact and organise a defence that isn't there.

f you want to take six points off Arsenal, then that's a great strike force. Can't imagine either of them showing much for the rest of the season though...
