The title and relegation battles may be settled, but it is all still to play for in the fight to secure a top-four finish. Arsenal are favourites to record a victory at Newcastle which will see them secure Champions League football next season, while Tottenham are odds-on to keep up the pressure by beating Sunderland.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers feels that the Reds need to "bring in some men" in the summer to ensure the club continue to improve.
m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!
hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.

@ vdawg...... eh there a massive difference between what he does ie constantly talk up the team, compared to being level footed and realistic. fair enough when he took the job he stated publically it would take 2 seasons or more before he would have team in his shape and style etc.. again fair enough.. but for sum reason on numerous occasions after a so called good performance (where we prob rolled over likes fulham sunderland etc) he comes out publically statin ooh we're good enough to challenge for top four, or even more cringe worthy quote " we can finish in 2nd position" im sorry but when have you ever heard a prem league manager talk like that before??? as soon as there's a microphone but in front of the man he feels the urge to waffle on about how things are improvin and how he cant criticize players performance etc etc, yet we still avent beat a team before us.. for me talk is cheap when comes to sport.. how often have you heard Laudraup or AVP waffle on bout there team or philosophy or journey compared to Rodgers?? nada in my opinion.. conclusion in my opinion i wish the man would just shut the f*ck up and get on with rebuildin the team, can safely say then that you wouldnt have the like of me on here complainin. but the reality is he wont. he is a waffler. the media circus is like a drug to him and he laps it up. if kept mouth shut and stuck with his original concept of takin 2 /3 seasons to rebuild then there'd be no compaints from disgruntled fans like myself..

Niadonnis....thats laughable. He gets criticised for being positive all the time, then when he slates the team its "i wish he would make up his mind". The man cant win. Im guessing youd rather have him just slate the team ALL the time then? Im happy with Rodgers comments here. We do need more experienced players. You need a blend. I just hope the ones he brings in are top class and not mid-table ones.

@niadonnis. although i agree with some of what you said. the transfer problem is not BR's fault. FSG want to buy young players, that's their policy,They refuse to pay what they deem over the top prices for older players.Hence we are left with a squad of young talented players with lack of experience to be able to handle things when they get tough.Im not say BR is perfect, yes Borini is a shocking buy,and why BR he goes to him when we have other talent on the bench i dont know.

well why have his decided to buy in unproven weak players?? Borini? Allen?? both of them have dissappeared as soon as things got tough for them ie being dropped etc... sick rodgers makin excuses, one wk he's praising how good of a squad he's got, the next he needs stronger character etc etc.. all in all same old cop out....
