hat on earth is Rowley going to do without his Popinjay...?
The title and relegation battles may be settled, but it is all still to play for in the fight to secure a top-four finish. Arsenal are favourites to record a victory at Newcastle which will see them secure Champions League football next season, while Tottenham are odds-on to keep up the pressure by beating Sunderland.

Fiorentina have confirmed they are interested in Fabio Borini but doubt whether Liverpool will let him leave.
m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!
hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.

That's one opinion, but others give their thanks to the man. We also have ideas for a relegation playoff, happy memories of the season and a defence of Liverpool's campaign...

then you need to sign someone else who might also be a flop. Rodgers and the scouts (as well as fiorentina) have seen something in him. Wait and see what happens when he is fit and has a run of games.

mrwxyz ... I agree with your comment. BUT it might be a good opportunity to cut our losses with a player who might be a flop if he could ever stay fit long enough to prove the doubters right.

I don't see how so many people can have formed such strong judgements on him. He's young and come from a different league (i know he's been at chelsea and swansea on loan but hardly has prem experience). So it may take a while - but he's barely played as he's been injured and carrying injuries for some of the time playing. So without seeing much of someone who will take time before he can be judged people have concluded he is rubbish!

I know Borini hasn't exactly set the world alight and some people would be glad to let him go (*cough* fickle), but to me that's unfair considering he's been unlucky with injuries. However, that's not my main concern. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is Fiorentina talking to the media about another team's player, not the definition of 'tapping up'?

Wonderful news. Had no idea there were people out there as stupid as Brendan Rodgers? If we can get some actual money for him it'll be a bonus. Terrible footballer.
