So who will replace David Moyes as manager of Everton after his appointment as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor at Manchester United? Wigan's Robert Martinez heads the betting. Check out the latest odds

The 31-year-old joined City from Blackburn in 2009 but failed to establish himself in the first team, instead taking in loan spells back at Rovers, as well as in Spain with Real Betis.

Santa Cruz is spending this season on loan at Malaga, with his City deal set to expire in the summer.

The frontman says he bears no grudges to the reigning Premier League champions but will not return to the Etihad Stadium when his contract is up.

He told Goal: "At City I had an excellent relationship with each of the coaches that I had - Mark Hughes first and Roberto Mancini later - as well as with the club.

"Mancini was honest with me and I don't blame anyone. They made big investments and I wasn't able to play much, but there is no blame.

"During my season at Manchester City I was not 100 per cent fit, like I am now. But I am not going to go back there.

"In June, I will not be a player of Manchester City anymore. The contract has expired."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.
