City were held to a 1-1 draw at Arsenal on Saturday but remain well-placed in third in the league.

City may still trail new leaders Liverpool by four points but have two games in hand on both the Merseysiders and second-placed Chelsea.

Despite the result, Clichy felt City showed enough in their performance at the Emirates Stadium to suggest they can claim the crown.

The Frenchman told City TV: "Overall we have to be happy and look for the positives and look forward to the next game.

"If we keep going with performances like this we have a lot of chances to be where we want to be at the end of the season."
