Manchester United have drifted out to 15/8 with Sky Bet for next season's Premier League title after the appointment of David Moyes.

The Everton boss will take charge at Old Trafford next season after signing a six-year deal with United, while Roberto Martinez has drifted in the betting on Moyes' replacement, going out from 1/2 to 5/4 with Porto boss Vitor Pereira coming in from 33/1 to 7/2.

United were the 13/8 outright favourites for the 2013/14 Premier League before Ferguson announced his intention to stand down, but are now joint with rivals Manchester City at 15/8 as punters happily oppose the champions.

Chelsea, who are 1/14 to appoint Jose Mourinho as their next manager, have shifted the most significantly in the market, coming in from 7/2 to 11/4 with a renewed assault on the title expected after they all but secured Champions League football for next season.

Sky Bet have opened up several United specials following Moyes''appointment, including where they will finish in the Premier League next season and which trophies they will win, offering 150/1 for a repeat of the infamous treble of 1999.

Sky Bet's PR Director Dale Tempest said: "Moyes seemed the obvious choice but you can't get away from the fact that he has not won a major trophy, so the pressure will be on if he fails to win one early in his tenure."

Bet365 are 4/1 about Moyes seeing out his bumper six-year contract. The firm fully expect the Scotsman to see out the 2013/14 campaign by offering 1/12 that he lasts the season.

His new side are 6/1 not to taste any silverware for the next three seasons and are also 9/4 to win both Premier League games against Everton next season.

BetVictor make 500/1 to win all four major trophies in the 213/14 season and 4/5 they end next season with nothing.
