The right-back has enjoyed a good season on Tyneside and he is expected to be included in Didier Deschamps' squad for Brazil.
Debuchy is currently sidelined, though, with a groin injury and he is not expected back until later in April.
Speaking to Telefoot he said: "I have been out for ten days but I am progressing well, in two weeks I should be ready.
"My goal now is to go to the World Cup, that is what I am thinking about."
Debuchy was asked about his long-term future following reports that he is a target for Paris St Germain.
He added: "I am still under contract at Newcastle and I focus on the end of the season and the World Cup.
"But PSG is a great club, it is a dream - but that is for all players."
This is not the first time this year that Debuchy has been quoted about possible interest from PSG amid claims they want to reunite him with former Newcastle team-mate Yohan Cabaye, who moved to the Parc des Princes in January.
At that time Newcastle boss Alan Pardew brushed it off by suggesting the player had been mistranslated.
