Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes a £27m deal for Barcelona's Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas, 27, is close to completion.

They have reignited their interest in Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic and Arsene Wenger is also targeting a defensive midfielder, a right-back and a centre-back - with Cardiff's Steven Caulker an option for the latter spot.
