Joining Blues skipper Caldwell and Cherries hitman Pitman were Accrington player/coach James Beattie and also defender Guy Branston, who was speaking shortly after signing for Bristol Rovers on loan.

Regulars Dean Windass and Neil Mellor were in the studio and gave their views in a debate on the value of the loan window, with both ex-pros telling us of their experiences of temporary moves and how they benefit both young and old players.

The takeover at Leeds United was also on the agenda, with the boys agreeing Neil Warnock will be loving the opportunity to spend some money.

Meanwhile, Caldwell explains what it's like to be playing at a club that's being sold, while Pitman tells why he made the move back to Dean Court from Bristol City and pays tribute to boss Eddie Howe.

Beattie speaks about his move into coaching at the Crown Ground and his aspirations for the rest of this season with Stanley, before testing his knowledge in the Quickfire Quiz.

The Football League Hour returns next Thursday from 7pm on Sky Sports News Radio.
