Holloway came onto the pitch at the end of his side's 2-2 draw with Leeds to confront United forward Luke Varney and the match officials.

The Palace boss was angered by referee Dean Whitehouse's decision not to send off Varney and team-mate Stephen Warnock for perceived red card offences.

But Holloway admits he went too far and will accept the charge, while also confirming he will speak with Wilfried Zaha.

The winger, back on loan at Selhurst Park as part of his transfer deal to Manchester United, has also accepted an improper conduct over a gesture made towards the travelling supporters was caught on camera.

"I won't be appealing to the charge. I was shouting that was wrong and I must be a role model. I will move on, as will Wilf," said Holloway.

"We are a well-run football club and we will deal with the issue concerning Wilf in the right way. I don't expect him to get a ban.

"There were incidents in the game that were not dealt with in the right way. That is now in the past and we have to get on with football."

Meanwhile, the Eagles' Championship game with Millwall, originally due to be played at The Den on Saturday 13 April, has been rescheduled for Tuesday 30 April, kick-off 7:45pm.

This is due to Millwall's continued involvement in the FA Cup over that weekend, where they will face Wigan in the semi-finals of the competition.
