Almen Abdi: Watford in action at Leicester on Friday

The Hornets travel to the King Power Stadium on Friday night to face Leicester aware only victory will be enough to keep alive their chances of joining Cardiff in taking the direct route to the Barclays Premier League.

Watford are four points behind Hull with two games remaining but, if they were to win tonight, it would put the pressure on Steve Bruce's side when they meet Barnsley on Saturday.

Abdi told Hornets Player: "It's our last chance. There are two games left, (and tonight) we are up against strong opposition. It's a difficult place to play.

"We're confident after the 4-0 win against Blackburn, though, and we'll give everything over the 90 minutes, and hopefully we can take three points to put pressure on Hull.

"The possibility is there that Hull will not win and it will go to the last game. If we win, of course. We have to concentrate on ourselves taking points, not Hull.

"We'll talk about this next week if it happens. I hope the game being on Friday night gives us an advantage - we seem to play well on television."

Leicester have plenty to play for themselves as they chase a play-off spot. A point would be enough to take the Foxes back into the top six until Saturday at least.

Leicester ended a run of nine games without a win against fellow top-six chasers Bolton last week before drawing with Crystal Palace, giving manager Nigel Pearson hope they can secure the points required.

He said on Leicester's website: "We've got two games left and we've got to try and win both of them.

"The next one is Watford and clearly our focus is on trying to get three points against them. It gives us the incentive of being able to put pressure on other teams around us.

"We've got to try and keep our focus on the job in hand. This stage of the season adds a bit of pressure to everybody, it's just about dealing with that.

"We're looking forward to the game and the players are working hard and seem confident with themselves, and I think that's important. Looking at the last few games, I think we've been playing better."
