Paul Coutts: Faces a fitness race ahead of the Millwall game

The Rams boss was without Coutts, 24, at Blackpool after the player sustained a thigh injury during the previous game against Peterborough.

Derby will complete their Championship campaign against Millwall at Pride Park on Saturday and Clough is optimistic about the Scot's chances of being available.

"Couttsy picked up a slight thigh strain against Peterborough and it was a bit disappointing not to have him available because he'd done so well against his old club," Clough told the club's official website.

"It's nothing too serious and he made the trip to Bloomfield Road with us, so we hope with a bit of treatment this week he should be all right to face Millwall."

The Blackpool fixture was just the second match Coutts has missed this season. He also missed the trip to Huddersfield in September when illness ruled him out.
