Bruno: Injury blow for Brighton

The Spaniard suffered a calf injury against Leeds last weekend and Gus Poyet has ruled him out of Saturday's clash with Wolves and both upcoming play-off legs.

"If we want to see Bruno we will have to get through to the final," said Poyet. "He will 100 per cent be fit if we reach the final but he will not be available for either of the semi-final games.

"Firstly because of the injury itself, which won't heal in time, then because I wouldn't like to start a semi-final with a player who I might have to change after an hour, especially if they are in the back four.

"It's a small tear in his calf again, which is similar to what he had before, so we cannot risk him, even though he is a top-quality player and has top-class experience."

I

think all those names linked to United exits make sense. Kagawa has never really looked like hitting the form he had at Dortmund and Fellaini is radioactive after last season (even though I think he's been unfairly singled out for criticism). Nani and Anderson have had more than their fair share of chances so they are done, and Hernandez deserves better than warming a bench.

e'll be off to Spurs (or better) in January and I don't blame him. Looking forward to re-signing Grant Holt as his replacement though.
