With the dust having settled on Team GB's failed bid for Olympic gold at the London Games, we can now turn our attention to the big kick-off on August 18.

Yes we've got Capital One Cup, Europa League, Champions League and SPL action going on before then - but they are simply the hors d'oeuvres to the main dish that is the first helping of Premier League and Football League business a week on Saturday.

With that in mind, I'll be asking my crack crew of TEAMtalk editors to rub their crystal balls and deliver their predictions for the 2012-13 campaign over the next fortnight - and am asking the same of you, our loyal army of readers.

I've prepared a predictions template for our bloggers James Marshment, Jon Holmes, Rob McCarthy, Matty Briggs, Mark Holmes, Ian Watson and Sam Nightingale - and we'll also get some thoughts from our star columnist, former England defender Danny Mills.

But I'm giving you lot the chance to get in ahead of them all and predict how you believe the season is going to pan out.

Enter your selections through our comment facility - and you'll be able to keep an eye on your hits and misses as the season unfolds, as I'll leave them on my own TEAMtalk blogs page for you to reference at any time.
