Arsenal have been linked with the Angola-born Lazio full-back, who can play on the right or left side of defence.

However, his agent has told the Italian media that it is Everton and Stoke who are showing the strongest interest in Cavanda.

Ulisse Savini told newspaper La Lazio Siamo Noi: "We are looking into several offers but they have to meet the demands of Lazio.

"The most serious interest? That is Everton and Stoke City."
