Asmir Begovic: Happy to let others speculate about his future

The Potters shot-stopper is already among the most coveted in the Premier League, with Arsenal and Manchester United having been heavily linked with his services in the recent past.

No move has been made as yet, but Stoke chairman Peter Coates is resigned to the fact that Begovic will leave the Britannia Stadium at some stage.

When that will happen remains to be seen, with the Bosnia international prepared to let his performances for club and country do the talking for him at present.

He has hinted that he will see out the season at Stoke, with thoughts starting to turn towards Brazil 2014, but admits he will be hoping to shine on the grandest of footballing stages next summer.

Begovic said in the Daily Star: "I don't know what's going to happen. It's nice to hear positive things about yourself.

"It's a really massive season. I have to make sure the day-to-day stuff, training and things like that, are sorted out and the rest should hopefully take care of itself.

"I have a good relationship with the chairman and everyone else here. When there is something to discuss, we will sit down.

"It's always been an honest relationship. He knows my ways and my ambitions and I know where he stands, so there are no secrets between us.

"We'll see what happens. Of course the World Cup is going to be a global shop window so obviously it would be great to do well there both personally and for Bosnia.

"I remember thinking as a kid wouldn't it be cool to play in a World Cup, and in Brazil as well - the spiritual home of football. I can't wait."

put Ince in my fantasy football team, so it's no surprise at all really. I do that to players. Also responsible for De Jong and Upson being injured. Think I'll transfer in Di Maria just to ruin United....
