Sky Sports News Radio presenter Dave Reed hosts this week's Football Podcast and is joined in the studio by TEAMtalk.com duo Mark Holmes and Tom McDermott as they discuss England's successful week and look ahead to this weekend's Premier League fixtures.

England qualify!

Following England's progression to next year's World Cup, Mark and Tom praise the Hodgson's selection but highlight some of the issues the England boss may face ahead of the tournament.

Do England have defensive problems?

The Leighton Baines v Ashley Cole left-back issue rages on after the former's impressive recent showings. Could Baines oust Cole as first-choice ahead of Brazil? England's other potential defensive problems are also discussed, with the centre-back spots still up for grabs. Do you agree with Mark and Tom's views?

Weekend action!

The Premier League returns this weekend, and the biggest talking points are discussed. Mark thinks West Ham might be able to surprise Manchester City on Saturday evening while Tom thinks that Tottenham must win against Aston Villa on Sunday.

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.
