There have been inevitable departures from the DW Stadium this summer following relegation out of the Premier League - with Arouna Kone among the most high-profile.

Speculation suggests there could be more to come, with James McCarthy and Shaun Maloney generating plenty of interest.

Coyle, though, is reluctant to see any more sales sanctioned.

With Wigan looking to bounce back into the top flight at the first time of asking, he is eager for the Latics to work with a settled group from this point on.

Coyle told the Wigan Observer: "We don't want to lose any of the players at the club.

"The ones I have spoken to have certainly intimated they'd like to play their part next year."

t's why Mourinho is so successful. He gives players a specific, limited set of functions to perform. They are but a cog in a machine. Do no more, do no less. I assume he learnt it from LvG :)

really hope that someone in the mainstream media spots that the Bayern manager played for and managed Barcelona quite well, and thinks to mention it in the build up. That would be really interesting.
