Isaac Cuenca: Wanted man

According to reports in Holland, the Ajax director of football had travelled to Barcelona to discuss the possibility of loaning players next season.

There is thought to be a strong relationship between Ajax and Barcelona and, in January of this year, the Catalan club agreed to loan winger Isaac Cuenca to the Dutch side.

For Overmars though, the deal to extend Cuenca's time at Ajax is proving problematic and he told De Telegraaf: "Currently the wage is a problem."

The former Arsenal winger also claimed that the loan fee for the 22-year old would have to be lowered and that any possible deal would have to be finalised within two weeks.

ood grief. Someone guessed that the form English player at the moment might be in his national side with some other players? And that's espionage? Now if they discovered that Emile Heskey was going to be in the starting line up.... at right back.... THAT would be espionage. Give it a rest Roy.
