Dieumerci Mbokani: Congolese striker looks set to move to Ukraine

Newly-promoted Hull City reportedly had a bid of €8million rejected by the Belgian club, while West Brom and Fulham were also said to be keen on securing the 27-year-old's services.

Mbokani spoke of his desire to move to the Premier League late in 2012, although he was also open to playing in Russia.

However the Ukrainian outfit now seem to be the likeliest destination for the player, who is currently with his national squad ahead of a World Cup qualifier against Burkina Faso, and valued at €12million by his club.

"I have not signed in Kiev, but can I do after my return from Congo," said Mbokani, who scored 21 goals in all competitions for Anderlecht last season.

"I hope Anderlecht and Kiev quickly find an agreement, because I really want to go to Kiev.

"It is an ambitious club that will play much Champions League football in the coming years."

t's why Mourinho is so successful. He gives players a specific, limited set of functions to perform. They are but a cog in a machine. Do no more, do no less. I assume he learnt it from LvG :)

really hope that someone in the mainstream media spots that the Bayern manager played for and managed Barcelona quite well, and thinks to mention it in the build up. That would be really interesting.
