Ishak Belfodil: Waiting to hear whether his move will go through

Belfodil, 21, is waiting to hear from his agent as the two clubs attempt to thrash out a deal which could see either Antonio Cassano or defender Matias Silvestre move the other way.

Belfodil told fcinternews.it: "Right now I'm on holiday in Dubai and in a couple of days I'll be back in Italy.

"I told my agent to call only when there is something real and true, and I still have not received any communication.

"Parma and Inter are dealing with it, everyone knows that. Inter are a great club and, although they had a poor season, they have a great history. Who would not like to play for them?"

Algeria-born Belfodil has represented France at youth levels from under-17 up to under-20.

He joined Parma from Lyon last year, having previously spent a short loan spell in Serie A with Bologna where he encountered a current member of the Inter squad.

"The only player I know directly is (Gaby) Mudingayi, from playing together in Bologna," he said. "But I know all the members of the squad, even if in name only."
