Swansea dominated the early stages with Michu going close to opening the scoring but the visitors took charge after the break with Edin Dzeko wasting a great chance to win it late on.

"From my point of view, in the first 30 minutes we played good football and created three or four chances," Laudrup told Sky Sports.

"I think that's a lot when you're talking about playing the champions from last season - a great team.

"Then they had a couple of chances late on. The second half wasn't the best football. Even we have to admit that they had two big chances at the end, especially the one for Dzeko.

"But I think overall it was a good point for us. If you look at the other results, Fulham lost at home to Reading and West Ham was also a draw at Newcastle.

"We keep our position in ninth in the table with a game in hand, so I'm happy with that.

"A draw with the champions from last season means we can still reach that target of a top-10 finish and I think that would be fantastic."

Michu had a strong shout for a penalty in the first half and Laudrup was left bemused by the decision that means they are still waiting for a first Premier League spot-kick of the season.

"I thought it was a penalty when I saw it from the bench," he added. "Now looking at it after the game, it was a huge penalty.

"It's a little curious. We have played 35 games in the league and not even one penalty. Maybe next time."

think that puts all doubts over Benteke's quality to bed. Can he do it after receiving the ball to feet, in the box, totally unmarked, on a warm, sunny afternoon in Swindon? Oh yes he can! This year is definitely Liverpool's year. YNWA.

ll very well selling all midfield and strikers but unless we bring anyone in that is better than what we had then it will be a terrible transfer window in my view. Sorted out the defense but our midfield and striker options look very light.

ove it when Jose accuses others of being defensive, cynical and playing to win. If I was Wenger, I'd get that quote laminated and framed - surely the biggest compliment he's ever received from Mourinho. You've got him riled Arsene - you're relevant again!
