Playing in a World Cup is always a special moment in any footballer's career - but taking on the world's greatest players in Brazil adds a different dimension to proceedings.

The hosts have lifted the Jules Rimet trophy five times and are the only country to have played in every tournament.

Most Premier League fans will be cheering Roy Hodgson's England troops on - but they'll also be keeping an eye on how their own team's stars are performing ahead of the 2014-15 campaign.

Here Beth Krysta Wilson lists all the players from England's top tier who will be going toe to toe this summer.

ou spend £200 million in one year and you say 3 years to win the title, I don't think the Man U board signed you to win the title in 3 years after shelling out that sort of cash. Spending that sort of money you should be challenging for the title in this season, not getting an early excuse in to try appeasing the fans and board.
