The on-loan Wolves forward scored in all four of the Edinburgh side's SPL matches last month, including a contender for goal of the season in a 2-2 draw with Dundee United.

Griffiths, who is joint top goalscorer in the SPL with 19 goals, said: "It's always nice to get recognition and I would like to dedicate the award to our supporters, who have stuck with us throughout the season.

"I'm enjoying my football right now and hopefully that's showing in my performances. I love playing for Hibs and scoring goals, so I couldn't be any happier.

"Hopefully we can build on our current form and I can play my part in helping Hibs to win as many matches as possible starting with Sunday's Edinburgh derby against Hearts."
