The 34-year-old full-back played more than 30 games last season after acting as cover for the injured Tim Clancy.

And having been told he can take an extended summer break by boss Pat Fenlon, Maybury now hopes to have done enough to be offered an extended deal.

"There is nothing sorted yet but hopefully we can get it over the line," said Maybury in the Daily Record.

"It was a short time off so he [Fenlon] told me to have a few days extra."
