Lee McCulloch: Skipper focused on matters on the pitch

The internal turmoil at Ibrox is expected to come to a head on Thursday when the current board looks to keep control of the League One club.

Directors James Easdale, finance director Brian Stockbridge, chief executive Graham Wallace, chairman Brian Somers and non-executive Norman Crighton are up for re-election.

They will be challenged by rebel shareholders trying to get former chairman Malcolm Murray, among others, appointed to the board.

But McCulloch says fellow squad members remain focused on their business on the pitch, which so far this season has been the case - they are next in action on Boxing Day looking for a 16th win in 16 league games this season.

"As players, it's not something we talk about," McCulloch said. "We hope everything goes alright that's all we can say on it.

"We're just concentrating on keeping the winning mentality in the dressing room and winning games."
