Nacho Novo: Will not be returning to Rangers

Despite receiving a hero's welcome when he turned up at their Ramsdens Cup win over Albion Rovers on Sunday, the Ibrox icon hasn't done enough to secure another move to the club.

"They all know I would love to sign," he told the Daily Record.

"But Ally has his own ideas and I have to respect that."

The 34-year-old Spaniard will continue his search for a new club, but admits it would be tough to play against Rangers.

"Of course it would be difficult, but you never know what can happen in football," he added.

h Daniel. I could spend hours on this subject putting the world to rights. You can even take a step back and ask why football fans (and society in general) have this need to know that something will happen before it actually does. There are times this important, when it comes to things like war, food production and natural disasters. A man you've never met changing his job? Not so much.
