It's time for another International Special on the Podcast, and for this edition host Mikey Burrows of Sky Sports News Radio joined in the studio by TEAMtalk.com's Jon Holmes and Football365.com writer Matthew Stanger.

There's criticism for England manager Roy Hodgson following the 1-1 draw away to Montenegro in Group H. Mikey runs through the headlines on the back pages, leading Jon to surmise what vegetable the tabloids might have been entitled to depict Hodgson as following his failure to tinker with his team in the second half.

Matthew places the result in context in terms of Montenegro's status in world football and the qualifying picture overall, and our trio also give their thoughts on how England's potenial path to Brazil might pan out in their remaining qualifiers.

There wasn't much to cheer about for the rest of the British and Irish nations on Tuesday night. Jon is appalled by Scotland's defending in their 2-0 defeat to Serbia, while Wales also lost in Group A. However, Matthew is able to find encouraging signs for Chris Coleman's young team despite their 2-1 loss to Croatia.

The Republic of Ireland could only draw with Austria in Dublin in Group C and Jon bemoans Giovanni Trapattoni's to bring on Wes Hoolahan in the closing stages. There's few plus points north of the border as Michael O'Neill's Northern Ireland side continued their winless streak, going down 2-0 to Israel in Belfast.
