Moyes: No Zaha loan bids

Manchester United manager David Moyes has revealed he has not fielded any requests to take Wilfried Zaha on loan, but admits the winger could be allowed to leave on a temporary basis if the circumstances are right.

Wilfried Zaha: Manchester United winger could be allowed out on loan

Zaha was Sir Alex Ferguson's final signing as United manager but has been chronically under-used since his £15million move from Crystal Palace.

Zaha's six-minute substitute outing at Aston Villa on Sunday was only his fourth United appearance and the 21-year-old has made just two starts since arriving in the summer after a deal was struck last January.

It is no surprise that a loan move has been mooted, with Newcastle said to be among the clubs interested in getting the services of a player good enough to win two full England caps.

And Old Trafford boss Moyes concedes he is not against the idea.

"I did say to Wilf if I didn't feel he was getting enough games, I would consider it," Moyes said in quotes reported by MUTV.

"Obviously if we've got injuries or other reasons, I wouldn't take it on board.

"But the truth is we haven't had anybody phoning up and wanting to do that at the moment.

"While it's like that, I am fine."
