Jackett's men had been looking for a 10th successive win having made it a club record nine with a 4-1 win at Swindon but dogged Shrewsbury were a tough nut to crack as the draw moved Wolves a point clear of second placed Brentford.

Jackett said: "It was a frustrating day and we certainly didn't have our shooting boots on.

"But credit to Shrewsbury as playing five at the back made it very difficult for us to get in behind them.

"Although we got the ball in the box a lot we didn't get on the end of it. They defended their box really and they made switching play tough for us.

"We had a lot of shots and had a couple of those flown in we would have been feeling differently.

"But we didn't hit the target enough and tactically we didn't use the wide areas enough to stretch the opposition.

"I have told the players where I think we could have done better and after that my words were that we take our point and we move on because we have to move on very quickly.

"We are not happy with a point, we wanted three, but we take it and move on.

"We have got two tough games coming up now in in the next week against Crawley and Sheffield United. Both sides will come and attack us and so I think they will be different to this game.

"You can't expect to have everything your own way. But we also feel that we can play better than we did against Shrewsbury. We know that.

"I didn't think we did enough in the final third. But it is not something you can just turn on and off like a tap. You have to keep concentrating and, as I said, I am not happy with it, but we take our point and move on."

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
