Clayton Donaldson could have won it for Brentford, but sliced wide in the last minute having earlier teed up Harry Forrester for the equaliser after Carl Baker had given the hosts a first-half lead from the penalty spot.

Bees defender Harlee Dean was keeping Coventry out on his own with two goal-line clearances until he gave away a penalty for pushing Richard Wood.

Baker converted for his 15th goal of the season, but the Bees were level within a minute of the restart when Forrester steered into the bottom corner from Donaldson's cross.

Coventry were deducted 10 points for going into administration and Pressley said: "There are a number of positives to take from the game.

"The pitch made life very difficult for us because we work towards a certain way we are going to play, which involves quick passing and breaking the lines from there.

"But it was nearly impossible to get that rhythm because when the ball was coming back after a one-two it was sitting up and bobbling up, which made it difficult to make those passes we are working towards.

"The last two weeks have not been easy for the players when they have worked as hard as they have and then had the 10 points deducted, it is difficult.

"We had a situation where we were playing against a Brentford side going for automatic promotion with the bit between their teeth, in front of good travelling support, but I felt our players worked really hard to get a result."

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
