Dylan McGeouch: Pointing to a Celtic future

Scotland Under 21 international McGeouch has been on loan at Coventry since January, but has made just six substitute appearances.

Fellow 21-year-old Irvine has fared better on loan at Kilmarnock, featuring 25 times, and both hope to have a future in Neil Lennon's plans when they return to Celtic.

McGeouch told the Daily Record: "I'll go back to Celtic in the summer and sort out what I'm going to do next.

"They've been a bit busy winning championships, which is great for everybody."

Irvine feels playing at Kilmarnock has improved him, saying: "It's been a good experience, it's really helped me grow as a player. Playing in 25 games or so is definitely more than I was going to get at Celtic.

"We're in a bit of a dogfight for that second bottom play-off position, so the pressure's even higher."

Irvine is targeting first-team football at Parkhead next term, commenting: "I'd find it hard to sit in the reserves after the season I've had."

ow is the time for Allardyce to finally get a chance at a big club please. He is likely to have a number of great offers for his services this summer, but who will he choose? Will it be Liverpool, Real Madrid, Dortmund or Man City?
