Howieson: Loaned to Doncaster

New Zealand international Howieson will go straight into the Rovers squad to play Yeovil at the Keepmoat Stadium in League One on Saturday.

The 18-year-old told the club's official website: "I got the call this (Thursday) morning. It was a bit late notice but it's good to be here now and I'm looking forward to it.

"It's my first loan move out so it's a big experience for me. I will take it day by day and hopefully I will get some good experience from this.

"Doncaster are at the top end of the table and are doing really well. I want to help them push on and get to the Championship.

"I've got to take every game as it comes and do the best I possibly can."

Howieson represented his country at the 2012 Olympics in London and he has also played for the All Whites at Under-23 level.
