The 18-year-old Australian defender has made one senior appearance for Pompey, in the Capital One Cup defeat by Plymouth back in August.

Grant could make his debut in the Blue Square Bet South clash at Weston-super-Mare on Saturday.

Meanwhile Jed Wallace has extended his loan spell with Whitehawk until January 7, while fellow midfielder George Colson and striker Dan Thompson will remain at Dorchester until January 17.
