The on-loan Stevenage striker scored his first goal for Pompey in last Saturday's 2-1 victory at Crewe - their first win in 24 matches.

Caretaker boss Guy Whittingham told the club's website: "Patrick wanted to stay here and we're very grateful to Stevenage for allowing him to remain for another month."

The 32-year-old should be in the squad to face Bury at Fratton Park on Saturday.
