Tyrone Barnett: Set to leave Peterborough

Sky Sports understands the 28-year-old will have a medical at Ashton Gate on Monday ahead of finalising a loan deal which will run until the end of the season.

The Posh paid more than £1million to Crawley for Barnett in early 2012, but he has made just 39 league appearances for them in that time.

Last season, he spent time on loan with Championship side Ipswich, who were understood to be keen on taking him back, but Bristol City have now agreed terms.

Barnett has scored six goals for Darren Ferguson's side this season, but he was not in the long-term plans of the Posh chief.
