The 25-year-old right-back left Posh at the end of the 2012-13 season, but returned on a one-year contract after failing to find a new club

"Just wanted to wish Mark Little all the best with his career and thank him for his time at Posh," said Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony via his Twitter account.

"Time for us all to move onwards and upwards."

Little made 185 appearances during his time at London Road, scoring four goals.
