Jolley is currently on loan at Blue Square Bet Premier leaders Newport, where he has scored three goals in his first three games for the Welsh club.

Bassey says Jolley is still in manager Neal Ardley's thoughts, and could work his way back into the Dons first team, should his good form continue.

Bassey told the club's official website: "We are monitoring Christian's progress closely and he has gone away and scored three goals in three games.

"We have seen in the past that when players go away and do well on loan, then the door is never shut.

"He is a terrific lad and has a great attitude for hard work - I never expected anything less from him.

"We are getting good reports from Newport about Christian so he is not out of our minds."

t all started going downhill when they started putting a photo of the writer along side their story. Journalists started to think that 'they' are the story, rather than what they write. Smug, self obsessed & up their own arse's. That sums up the majority of newspaper sports reporters.

he reason so much sh*t is written about football is because there are so many people who want to read sh*t about football. Now shut up, take my money, and tell me Ronaldo is going to sign for Van Haal and that Mick McCarthy is signing Peter Crouch on loan.
