Neal Ardley: Looking for inspiration

The Dons are without a win in three matches and laboured to a 1-1 draw against 10-man Accrington in front of a frustrated Kingsmeadow crowd in League Two on Saturday.

They now face tricky trips to Morecambe and Hartlepool and Ardley knows his side must improve if they are to stay in touch with the promotion pace.

"We played passes that were going nowhere," he said.

"The players were fragile, their confidence levels dropped, and the crowd were rightly not happy with the performance.

"The players did not respond to that well."
