Former Tottenham boss Redknapp, 65, who has been working in an advisory role at Bournemouth since early September after leaving White Hart Lane in June, has been linked with the vacant managerial position at Blackburn.

Eric Black is currently in temporary charge of Rovers as the club's global advisor Shebby Singh searches for a replacement for Kean who departed on 28th September.

Dunn told Sky Sports News: "If Shebby could persuade Harry to have a serious think about coming to Ewood Park then I would imagine it would be one of the better decisions that Venky's have made over the last couple of years.

"We have got a very good squad and we still have an outstanding chance of getting promotion.

"I am sure if Harry was interested and the club could persuade him to come to the club, then hopefully we could get promotion. Promotion is great for any manager's cv."

Black said: "He's a fantastic manager, right up at the top echelons of management and I think he would be a sensational appointment for Blackburn.

"Whether that happens I really don't know, but he is a fantastic manager and has proven that over the years."

still can't see the Phil Jones thing that some people go on about. Whenever I watch him play it's a repeat of headless chicken meets a gurning Bambi on ice for 90 minutes.

P

robably the first list I've come across in a long time where I agree with a large majority of what was written. Can't agree with everything though, Zaba has had an awful season by his standards, I'd put Monreal (a player who I've never rated) up there, gotta give credit where it's due, he's really stepped up his game.
