Neil Warnock: Issues rallying call to Leeds players and fans

Ahead of Saturday's home clash with Championship leaders Crystal Palace, Warnock's side are 18th in the table, on a three-match losing streak and without a victory in seven league games.

The manager has stressed the slump must be halted and that his players need to "roll their sleeves up".

But he is optimistic about what lies ahead for Leeds, expressing his hope the news on Wednesday that Bahrain-based investment bank GFH Capital will complete a 100% takeover of the club in December has an immediate and positive impact.

"We can't slip further away and we have to roll our sleeves up," said Warnock - who may hand debuts to loan recruits Alan Tate and Jerome Thomas.

"It's been a good 48 hours for the club, and hopefully everyone will come together on Saturday.

"It has been a frustrating time, but this season can't be written off. We have to hang in there and give it our best shot. As I said on Thursday, we have to move forwards. Together.

"Let's forget everything that's gone on and give it our best shot. I'm hoping it'll be a good atmosphere."
