Robert Duvall and Tom Cruise: Were hoping to see a 'shoot-out'

Robert Duvall and Tom Cruise: Were hoping to see a 'shoot-out'

Hollywood star Cruise predicted a "great game" between the top two sides in the Premier League before kick-off - and clearly knows his football as Sir Alex Ferguson's won a five-goal affair.

"This is the first game that I've seen in England," he said on Sky Sports 1.

"I've been following it since the eighties so I'm just excited that I'm able to be here."

The Mission Impossible actor is friends with David Beckham and he revealed the former England captain had sent him a message ahead of the game.

"He wishes he was here. I got an email from him, he's jealous that I'm here," Cruise added.

Apocalypse Now actor Duvall was also at the game, but appeared to be a little rusty on the rules.

He said: "Will there be a shootout today? No. If it's a tie? No."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
