Chaos reigns in aftermath of England U21s' clash with Serbia

Tottenham defender Caulker was banned for two games and Blackpool midfielder Ince for one for their behaviour at the end of the stormy match in Serbia.

Serbia's U21s have been ordered to play their next match behind closed doors and the Serbian FA fined £65,000 following the "improper conduct of their supporters" during and at the end of the European Championship qualifier back in October.

England's players were incensed by racist chants from Serbia fans, with Danny Rose kicking the ball into the stands after the final whistle, an act which earned him a red card.

Players and coaching staff clashed in chaotic scenes at the end of the match in Krusevac and it was for their behaviour then that Caulker and Ince were banned.

The punishments were widely condemned in some quarters at the time, while UEFA announced it would appeal against all the sanctions imposed by its own control and disciplinary body in relation to the match.

Serbia fitness coach Andreja Milunovic, who attacked England officials, was

banned for two years, as was Serbia assistant coach Predrag Katic.

Four Serbia players were also banned - Goran Causic for four matches, Ognjen

Mudrinski and Filip Malbasic for three and Nikola Ninkovic for two.
