Edin Dzeko: Manchester City striker is not ruling out leaving

City have been linked with several forwards during the January transfer window and reports have claimed that Roberto Mancini will offload Mario Balotelli in order to create space in his squad.

However, Dzeko is aware that Balotelli may not be the player sacrificed and is not ruling out a departure from the Etihad Stadium after being linked with Inter Milan.

Dzeko is City's top scorer in the Premier League this season with nine goals, but accepts that his future is out of his hands.

"Anything is possible," Dzeko told The People. "I wouldn't rule out leaving now or in the summer, but I'm trying not to think about it.

"It is up to me to try to use the opportunities I am being given at City, everything else is beyond my powers at the moment.

"We have four strikers and I suppose we can bring in another one, but only after one of us leaves the club."

Regarding his controversial team-mate Balotelli, the Bosnian added: "Everyone knows what Balotelli is like. He enjoys being the centre of attention, that's just who he is.

"When it comes to the team, he can sometimes be a bit over the top in some areas, but generally I find him a really a positive guy.

"However, I don't think that he is making the most of his talent."
