Gary Hooper: Won't be coming to Norwich in a swap deal

The Canaries are very much in the market for a new striker, with Celtic's Gary Hooper having been identified as their number one target.

Two bids have already been knocked back by Celtic, with the SPL outfit reluctant to part with their most potent attacking weapon.

Speculation claimed that Norwich may look to counter Celtic's loss by offering them a ready-made replacement.

Grant Holt was said to be the man the Canaries would look to use a makeweight in any deal for Hooper.

Norwich chief executive David McNally has, however, rubbished any suggestion that the club would consider a swap deal.

He posted on Twitter: "In response to (lots) of earlier messages, none of our senior players are for sale and won't be included in any player swaps."
