Celtic: Celebrate Rami Gershon's goal

In the early kick-off, a makeshift Celtic side eased to victory at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium to go 18 points clear of the Highlanders at the top of the table.

Nick Ross gave Caley the lead in the ninth minute only for Hoops midfielder Kris Commons to level in the 20th minute with the sweetest of left-footed strikes.

Three minutes into the second half, debutant Rami Gershon headed the champions into the lead before Miku grabbed a third in the 82nd minute as the visitors ran out easy winners.

Dundee United's resurgence under new manager Jackie McNamara continued as they saw off 10-man Hearts 3-1 at Tannadice to make it back-to-back victories.

The Tangerines got off to a flying start through Johnny Russell's second-minute opener before the visitors had Ryan Stevenson sent off for a foul on Gary Mackay-Steven.

Willo Flood made it 2-0 for McNamara's side on 62 minutes only for Michael Ngoo to pull one back for the Jambos in the 76th, but substitute Michael Gardyne sealed matters in the revitalised hosts in the final minute.

An early own goal from Stevie Hammell and a late headed second from William Gros gave Kilmarnock a 2-0 home win over Motherwell - and three points that they scarcely deserved.

Motherwell's frustrations got the better of them in the closing minutes when firstly Fraser Kerr and then captain Keith Lasley were shown straight red cards for wild tackles on James Dayton.

Finally, 10-man Aberdeen survived the dismissal of Mark Reynolds for two bookable offences to earn a goalless draw with St Mirren.

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
