Like a marathon runner? I've ran a few marathons myself, Liverpool remind me of the time(s) I got lazy and didn't train properly, then struggled to make it the whole distance, having to walk for sections, if that's what he meant then spot on.

Getting carried away after an inspiring win would not be Rodgers' style at all. Watch him get carried away with his teams perfect performance after the next insipid defeat however.

Carried away? Last 14 games in all competitions reads: LWWWLWLDDLLW....one of those wins was against Mansfield. One of those defeats was againts Oldham. Both draws threw away leads. It is February, and they have finally beaten a team above them. I wouldnt be getting away either Brendan.

@sanity1892, please clarify if you are a big team, thus open to scrutiny of others on a public website such as 365, or a small team, and its not fair people people point and laugh at your fallen status despite your delusions of grandure. I really dont know which way you are approaching this. You want the attention, unless its critical? Aww, bless. 365 do match reports on Ipswich, i would imagine any stories they did would be as interesting as those Frank Lampard or Theo churns out. Not for me ta.

@chelseablue you would think so, have any of those defenders with i think the exception of the left back ever featured before, when i saw the team i immediately lumped money on over 4 goals scored, was only 19/5 tho! Your right Brendan dont get carried away, the piranhas are waiting. We are exceptional to watch.

So will Swansea be up before the FA for fielding a weakened team?

Hump - I'm a little pessimistic. We had much better balance with Sturridge and Coutinho, so I think some of our creativity will go. My little bum'ole started squeaking every time Swansea attacked, and unless we suddenly stiffen up the back (oo-er), I see us leaking a soft goal.

Good win. I look forward to the mailbox reaction though, and Benvo81's absolute rightious indignation it wasn't 10. Still, good win, very good. Fancy the same against Zenit?

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
