Hmm Fergie never criticises his own players...just every other teams players, the clubs themselves, the officials and the FA...nice one!

I still think he would have been a good player for us, Kagawa might come good but Na$ri was already proven in the prem. He went from being a 1st choice play maker at Arsenal to Silva's deputy, he was never going to dislodge him in the team he and Mata are the best in the league for my money.

red born and bred - he did what most players would do. Went to the one offering the biggest wages.

I've always thought that Nasri is a distinctly over-rated player.

@fictionalemu: you hit the nail right on the head mate. Well said. Great mangers are the one who can manage people the best.

Funny how, according to Mancini, Balotelli, Hart and now Nasri are all potentially world-class players, but aren't performing to the best of their ability. If only there was someone to 'coach' or 'manage' that potential out of them.

For all the things that have gone wrong at Arsenal over the last couple of years, getting rid of Nasri in the last year of his contract for £24m was a masterstroke. He's done nothing at City, and only had 6 good months at Arsenal. Lazy and a poor attitude. How he gets mentioned in the same breath as rvp and Fabregas is baffling.

R V P had a choice over the summer. Go to a club where any issues are addressed in private via positive coaching or one where the manager uses his press conferences to communicate his criticisms of players. Which one would you choose?
