haha mark rogers....although not all fans loved Redknapp. A lot had lost patience with him slagging them off and talking the club down.

Chelsea net spend this season - £72,000,000, after winning the Champions League, capable of bringing in just about anyone. Arsenal net spend - £8,000,000, able to bring in Podolski, Carzola, Giroud, relatively big names for decent prices. Spurs spend, probably not yet able to attract the same "big names" the other two could bring in if they wanted? Minus £1,300,000. But yeah, despite inheriting a team and fans who were distinctly loyal to media darling Redknapp, I think AVB should be embarrassed if Spurs don't finish at least 3rd. Why not 1st even?

it's all just attempted mind games, putting added pressure on Spurs hoping they'll buckle tonight. With the money Chelsea have nobody would expect Spurs to break into the top 3 although it is certainly possible. They're certainly the best of the not-quite-as-rich at the mo.

I'm glad BFS knows what we want... Yes at the moment with the form of Chelsea and Arsenal we've got the best chance of finishing third in a long long time but I'm sure, well I hope most Spurs fans take into account the fact we lost two of our best attacking options in VDV and Gail Platt in the summer. We've signed replacements (but I don't think anyone would say that Dempsey is a better player than VDV and as much as I love Mousa he's not the same type of player Moddy is) so if we equal what Harry achieved then I'd happily take that. As for tonight we should win, but I'm watching the game with four Hammers friends, two gooners, and one person who enjoys watching me suffer so it wouldn't surprise me if we get stuffed.

Stop talking rubbish Sam. Redknapp had a stronger squad last season than AVB has now...also Harry didn't really have any injuries of note to contend with. AVB has lost Kaboul for the entire season so far, did not have Parker or Benny until January and has lost Sandro in January for the rest of the season...not to mention Levy not bothering to replace VDV properly (shock horror), selling Modric which has meant having to change our style of play as Dembele is a different player, and only having the sum total of one striker at any one time for most of the season. AVB was badly let down by Daniel Levy, so I think he is achieving above expectations this season. His comments are simply moronic and don't scratch the surface on any kind of level...last season and this season are barely comparable in terms of personnel being different and circumstances being different. And close your mouth when you chew, you horrible tw*t.
