Can't wait for the open top parade with Kronke and Hill-Wood waving a shiny briefcase full of cash to the fans.

It wanst a dig, I was just genuinly suprised that's all. And mainly wondered if this 6month period is more of a cost phase and the other 6months shows a greater income.

@ dryice if we hadn't sold RVP, would we have bought Pod, Santi and Giroud?, @synergy "fancy accounting?" stop trying to blind us with your complicated legal terminology...

@bettyswollox why would you hope they put the season tickets up? Why would it be good us fans or any fans being mugged off? Does it make you feel good Arsenal fans having to pay more to watch the team? Nice one what a top bloke you are

vaseline gang (Arsenal) says...

@dryice, not selling RvP would have meant no Poldi and/or Giroud, so money would have been saved either way.

Synergy says...

@dryice> Doesn't quite work that way. Most of these profits are "fancy accounting". Clubs like United and Arsenal tend to show reduced profits. The true profits will be much higher.

This is just to show the fans that the club is health and earning some profits.

So without selling RVP they would have been a £6m or so loss for the 6 months? Suprised by this really unless the other 6months has big incomes from TV and ST renewals.

hump3 (Ipswich Town) says...

The fans claim no trophies in 7 seasons, but they have Biggest Mugs, Bestest Business Venture, Greediest Board Members etc. From the outside they look like they are being mugged. You have to feel sorry for them (The fans that is, the board seems to be p***ing themselves at how easy they are pulling this scam off)
